did you know that astrengent have high content of alcohol,

alcohol is good as 1 you used it,but it dries up your skin,

also it is harsh,

for oily skin, use a toner not astrengent...

for combanation skin, use toner and astrengent...use toner for the t-zone,and astrengent for the other parts of your face.

try nivea,l'oreal toners. What is the difference between a skin toner and an astringent?
Toners vs. Astringents: Both are cleansers, but toners should have no alcohol and are used for more sensitive skin. Astringents may contain a small amount of alcohol and are designed for oily skin or combination dry/oily skin.

Astringent: a substance, such as witch hazel or alcohol, that causes skin tissue to tighten. Helpful in controling surface oils and lowering skin鈥檚 pH after cleansing.

Toner: a milder astringent- should be used by people with dry or sensitive skin.
A good toner should help to ph-balance the skin and an astringent is usually more caustic or severe.
