How can I get leaner, toner and more defined muscle?

I have always been a swimmer so I have a lot of muscle, I recently lost about 25 pounds. I think I want to lose another 10 lbs but also I want to get toned. I want abs and to just look more tight and toned. What is the best way to do this. I do a lot of cardio and I know I should add more weight training, but I am not sure how to do this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.How can I get leaner, toner and more defined muscle?
try doing pilates..they realy help)
