How to fix a toner error on a brother printer ?

I reinstalled a new toner which is a TN-550 on a brother printer that is capable of fax, copy, and scan. The screen is saying toner error but i tried everything i could think of to fix it. Anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?How to fix a toner error on a brother printer ?
To prevent the printer showing ';error'; or “not recognize” when installing a new cartridge, please try to follow these instructions below:


1) Turn on the printer; take out the cartridge


2) Turn off the printer for a few minutes


3) Turn on the printer, when it says ';insert inks';, and then insert the cartridge, making sure the cartridge is sitting completely in the slot.


Please shake the toner many times.





Also, if you have a drum kit in your printer, please also check the drum kit and re-install the drum kit.How to fix a toner error on a brother printer ?
Do you rememeber if you had any errors on the previously installed cartridge?


If not, take the cartridge out and reinstall it.


Most likely you have received a bad cartridge.

Open the front and rear covers, then press and hold GO until alll the leds go yellow, the drum led is reset. Of course, don't do this unless you really want to reset


the drum light and your drum is stil in good condition. or Power off machine. Open front cover. While holding go button down power up machine holding go button until only 3 lights are lit (about 15 seconds). Press go button 2 times. Wait 20-30 seconds then press go button 5 times. Close front cover. Ta da
Need the model number, please. Of the printer. Does not exist on Brother.com
