Toner?.......?

Should I apply toner if I already cleanse, apply benzoly peroxide (for acne), and also moisturize or would adding toner be just too much. I've been acne free for about a month and a half but I still have light spots. Is it worth using the toner?Toner?.......?
Applying toner is the number one skipped step in skin care. It is important to use toner because it enhances the cleansing that the cleanser did and it prepares your pores for the moisturizer. Also, toner is great for getting rid of the stubborn dead skin cells that seem to stay on your face. As we get older, the cell renewal process slows down, and the dead skin cells that are supposed to slough off actually stay, leaving your face looking dull.

If you have acne, usually the toner that comes with your skin care system has acne-fighting ingredients that complement the cleanser and the moisturizer. (See clear.now skin care system product info on www.arcebal.com.)

In light of the acne, benzoyl peroxide is a good ingredient for fighting acne; however, it won't penetrate deep into your pores as much as sodium chlorite would. Sodium chlorite molecules are 300,000 times smaller than those of benzoyl peroxide; sodium chlorite is found in the toner of the clear.now system while benzoyl peroxide is found in ProActiv and other brands you find in the drug/grocery stores. Benzoyl peroxide may treat your acne, but it may not prevent acne from coming back since it only acts on the surface.

If you would like to know more or try the clear.now skin care system, risk-free, just go to www.arcebal.com. You have a 180-day satisfaction guarantee (6 months to return it, even if open or used).

I've tried it, and it truly treats and prevents acne! clear.now has pharmaceutical grade amounts of salicylic acid and sodium chlorite.Toner?.......?
toner will cleanse and the most important it will hydration your skin (hydration will prevent to much oil and prevent wrinkles).........if your medicated toner was to strong, try too mixed with rose water........... Report Abuse

Im assuming you have oily skin?..

if you do..

you should use a gel based cleanser.. a TONER [not an astringent] and sunscreen.. and an acne spot treatment for the spots where you break out..

possibly a light oil control moisturizer as well.

You dont want to but all these acids and your face..

itll dry it out too much..

You want to stay balanced but contol those blemishes..

And yes i do recommend a toner, it balances your complexion.

But like ive said to many other girls..

do not use the cheap stuff!

Im a fan of dermalogica, try that.
Most people don't actually need toner as most cleansers normalize the pH of the skin now. Toner does nothing but help close pores and balance the pH of your skin.
