What a good inexpensive toner for bleached hair?

I just had my hair bleached it is to dark to come up otherwise and it is so bright I need something to tone it down a little but still have it look light blond.

Can i use a toner on my blonde hair without the peroxide?

Just wondering if i can use a blonde toner on my hair without the developing solution (peroxide). Since my hair is so light and pretty pourous, i know the peroxide just helps open the cuticle, and mine is open already. I plan on useing a violet base to counteract the yellowish brassy roots. Thanks for any help. Can i use a toner on my blonde hair without the peroxide?
actually if you don't use the developer then the toner won't take to your hair. you need both parts to make it work. even though your hair is already damaged and porous from coloring it the first time.. the two both go together and won't work without ecahother.

another choice is to use a purple shampoo.. if you dont have one already.. get one! it makes a lot bigger difference than a toner, it just takes atleast a week or two to see the results but its worth it =]Can i use a toner on my blonde hair without the peroxide?
yes; you should be able to. make sure to use a lot of conditioner and whatnot so your hair doesnt fall out :D
yeah it's fine to use without the peroxide, though the best thing to get would be L'Oreal Professional Silver Shampoo, use it twice a week and it'll banish that horrible brassiness. They also make a great conditioner which goes with it.

hope it helps :)

Will a violet-base toner take the brassiness out of my old highlights?

My old highlights (toward the ends of my hair) look yellowish-orange. If I put a violet-base toner (no peroxide, just the toner) on for 15 minutes, will that help take the brassiness away a bit? Also is toner alone damaging for the hair? Thanks! Will a violet-base toner take the brassiness out of my old highlights?
It should definitly help.

And because its not a peroxide based toner it wont damage the hair. allthough youll need to keep re-applying as the toner washed out. Will a violet-base toner take the brassiness out of my old highlights?
yes

What would Clairol 323d toner do to orangish but mostly blonde hair?

if i use the Clairol creme toner 323d extra light platinum base blue violet on my mostly blonde but kind of orangish hair would it turn it lighter or do hardly a change? I was wondering because Im trying to get my hair platinum and if this really doesnt do that big of a change Im just going to get it professionally done. What would Clairol 323d toner do to orangish but mostly blonde hair?
Professional is the best way to go Platinum.

The toner is just going to tone. You have to lift that orange out. Your hair must have a warm base, so you would need to pre-lift your hair, then tone to get platinum. Very damaging to do at home.

Why does old toner in a laser printer need to be discarded before refilling with new toner?

What is reason behind discarding old toner? Why does old toner in a laser printer need to be discarded before refilling with new toner?
An Old toner is actually being a petroleum product %26amp; is actually a threat to environmental conditions. So they're discarded generally. Refilling is certainly a good option.

  • What color will this toner turn my hair?

I bleached all my hair to a kinda pale yellow and i bought this blue based toner by clairol called 'white beige'.Is it gonna be like white or what? What color will this toner turn my hair?
i used a purple based toner in my hair when it was blonde, and it went white. i think blue does the same. 'beige' implies that it wont be white white, but have a beige hue.

just try it, toner doesnt last that long anyway so when it fades out you can do something else if you didnt like it.
