i have some extra conditioning toner from when i bleached my hair and now i don't know if i should still use it.
The parts of my hair that I bleached I dyed purple.
So my questions are:
-if i use the toner now will it make the purple change color?
-if i use the toner on my unbleached hair will it make it darker or lighter? What do I do with my conditioning toner?
It depends on what color the toner is. If it is a violet color, it is used to remove yellowish tones from blond hair and won't effect dark hair at all. It might even enhance the purple in your hair. If it is a greenish color, it is used to remove orange-brass color and might turn your purple color muddy. What do I do with my conditioning toner?
it wont do anything
its just for keeping your hair extra healthy from the dye

What exercises should i do to get toner arms and thighs?
also, what exercises should i do to get rid of my belly? What exercises should i do to get toner arms and thighs?
To start off a work out, do some cardio. That will burn fat everywhere. To tone your arms, life weights(how long and how heavy depends on your abilities). For your legs, do squats(running for the previously mentioned cardio would also help). For your belly, do crunches(invest in a bender ball which cost very little and delivers great results+it comes with a workout dvd for your abs+lower body). What exercises should i do to get toner arms and thighs?
arms, pushups. thighs squats. belly situps.
squats for thighs
crunches for stomach
weights for arms

What's the difference between ink and toner?
please explain in easy to understand terms, i'm not computer literate. thanks! What's the difference between ink and toner?
The real basic difference is Ink is liquid and Toner is powder.
The difference in printing is also different.
Ink is sprayed onto the page and dries in a few seconds, toner is electrically attracted to the page then a laser or LED light literally heats the toner onto the page to ';fix'; it.What's the difference between ink and toner?
Here's the info for what ink is%26gt;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ink
And here is info on what Toner is%26gt;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toner
You can compare the both, and what there differences are.

How long after bleaching should I apply toner?
I'm going to bleach my hair sometime this week, and it's probably going to turn orange/yellow. If I buy special effects mixer/toner, how blonde will it get?
Can I use the toner/mixer on the same day that I bleached it, or should I wait a few days? How long after bleaching should I apply toner?
You can use toner on the same day as bleaching.I suggest picking up a violet toner. Mixed toners usually have a life of 30 minutes. If your not as blonde as you had hoped, wash your hair, dry and apply again.
You also may want to try a shampoo cap by mixing equal amounts of shampoo with mixed bleach.
In my case from going from black to blonde, i used use dish soap, insted of shampoo, which is horrible for your hair, but it gets the job done.
Good Luck! How long after bleaching should I apply toner?
I've never bleached my hair, but my older sister and friend Carrie, Alissa and Mary (emos) have, they said that they used the toner right after they bleached it (same day).
When I get my hair done, my hair stylist uses it right after.lebron james

After bleaching my hair how long should i wait intill using a toner?
im bleaching my hair at the moment, can i use the toner right after? or should i wait? After bleaching my hair how long should i wait intill using a toner?
When you really need it you know when your hair starts to turn orage or a mustard yellow, I think maybe 4 to 5 months depending on how often you dye it.
Although I found another source that says the oposite:
Surely you've heard the expression ';bleach and tone';? Toning hair is done to neutralize brassy (yellow or yellow/orange) pigments.
After bleaching hair is the most common time for using hair toner. Because bleach leaves the hair in a raw-pigment state which is less-than-attractive, you need to add back pigments to create a ';natural'; look. So...whip up a toner! After bleaching my hair how long should i wait intill using a toner?
I use the toner right after, it doesn't kill your hair like bleach.
after you bleach your hair and its lifted to the color you desire..take out the foils or rinse the head...squeeze out water and then apply toner leave on about 10 minutes not too long or you will blend out the hair you just lifted with the bleach. toner is great because then you will look like you have natural highlights instead of looking fake.
Alright, so once you rinse your hair of the bleach, shampoo it, but do not condition it. Tone it right away. Don't let it sit too long. Keep an eye on it in the mirror to make sure it gets to your desired color, then rinse. Once you rinse, then shampoo again, and then condition. Make sure that you use a moisturizing conditionder seeing that you are bleaching your hair.

Do you need to use the toner for Proactiv?
I personally don't like the toner that much. Should I just not use it or should I get another toner from another brand? If I should get another brand's toner, what should I use?Do you need to use the toner for Proactiv?
I would use the toner because it removes the access dirt left behind that the cleanser didn't pick up. I wouldn't get another brand. I would not use the toner versus using another toner because mixing products might cause a chemical reaction and who knows how your skin will react. The toner is not that bad, try to stick with it if at all possibleDo you need to use the toner for Proactiv?
the toner is just astringent.
I dont like the proactiv toner either i hate the smell of it....but it works..stick to the system..they put the 3 things together for a reason! if you use it and it doesnt work then switch to a different brand....I think if you use it the way you are suppose to it will work and you'll end up likeing it
well i used proactive and it didnt work out for me it did in the begining but yea i do think you need to use the toner because that takes off all the dead skin cells and cleans the insides of your pores because if you go like a week without using it then all of a sudden you do use it trust me their will be a lot of dirt coming off on the cotton ball so YEs use it lol
For the ';system'; to work you are supposed to use all of thier product line, but maybe it won't make a difference. I guess if you do use another toner and it seems like the Proactiv isn't working, maybe it's the different toner, if not than it's fine!
