im bleaching my hair at the moment, can i use the toner right after? or should i wait? After bleaching my hair how long should i wait intill using a toner?
When you really need it you know when your hair starts to turn orage or a mustard yellow, I think maybe 4 to 5 months depending on how often you dye it.
Although I found another source that says the oposite:
Surely you've heard the expression ';bleach and tone';? Toning hair is done to neutralize brassy (yellow or yellow/orange) pigments.
After bleaching hair is the most common time for using hair toner. Because bleach leaves the hair in a raw-pigment state which is less-than-attractive, you need to add back pigments to create a ';natural'; look. So...whip up a toner! After bleaching my hair how long should i wait intill using a toner?
I use the toner right after, it doesn't kill your hair like bleach.
after you bleach your hair and its lifted to the color you desire..take out the foils or rinse the head...squeeze out water and then apply toner leave on about 10 minutes not too long or you will blend out the hair you just lifted with the bleach. toner is great because then you will look like you have natural highlights instead of looking fake.
Alright, so once you rinse your hair of the bleach, shampoo it, but do not condition it. Tone it right away. Don't let it sit too long. Keep an eye on it in the mirror to make sure it gets to your desired color, then rinse. Once you rinse, then shampoo again, and then condition. Make sure that you use a moisturizing conditionder seeing that you are bleaching your hair.

Do you need to use the toner for Proactiv?
I personally don't like the toner that much. Should I just not use it or should I get another toner from another brand? If I should get another brand's toner, what should I use?Do you need to use the toner for Proactiv?
I would use the toner because it removes the access dirt left behind that the cleanser didn't pick up. I wouldn't get another brand. I would not use the toner versus using another toner because mixing products might cause a chemical reaction and who knows how your skin will react. The toner is not that bad, try to stick with it if at all possibleDo you need to use the toner for Proactiv?
the toner is just astringent.
I dont like the proactiv toner either i hate the smell of it....but it works..stick to the system..they put the 3 things together for a reason! if you use it and it doesnt work then switch to a different brand....I think if you use it the way you are suppose to it will work and you'll end up likeing it
well i used proactive and it didnt work out for me it did in the begining but yea i do think you need to use the toner because that takes off all the dead skin cells and cleans the insides of your pores because if you go like a week without using it then all of a sudden you do use it trust me their will be a lot of dirt coming off on the cotton ball so YEs use it lol
For the ';system'; to work you are supposed to use all of thier product line, but maybe it won't make a difference. I guess if you do use another toner and it seems like the Proactiv isn't working, maybe it's the different toner, if not than it's fine!

What is the purpose of facial toner?
Is there really a benefit to using it or is it just a marketing gimic? What is the purpose of facial toner?
The purpose of Facial Toner and the toning routine is to promote elasticity of the skin pores and stimulate the skin's metabolic breathing processes. What is the purpose of facial toner?
You use it after you have cleansed. It refreshes the skin and removes traces of dirt and cream from your cleanser. However, I have been told that a splash of water does a better job than toner. Toner contains mostly water anyway and some chemicals. Why put chemicals on your clean skin!! No real benefit. It might smell nice but again - chemicals.
Dont use Purpose, I didnt like it at all because it dried out my skin. Use Neutrogena Alcohol Free Toner. Its the best and it doesnt dry out my skin at all. And its really cheap! Find it at ur local drugstore.
It restores the Ph Balance on your skin.

What can I use as a toner for my face?
What can I use as a toner on my face, that works just as well as rubbing alchohol [I dont have rubbing alchohol] and also, what times do I put it on? Before bed..or morning or what? What can I use as a toner for my face?
this might work for you... Yesterday I brought this acne cream. It’s called: “Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream” it’s around $30 for a 10cm bottle. I know it’s kind of a lot of money but it actually works! Just rub a dab on your spot and in 8 hours or so, it’s hardly noticeable! If you use it very night in around 3 days it’s gone!
I use it every night. But you still need to wash it off in the morning, because it’s kind of oily.
Also for symptoms of scars, chapping, peeling or flaking due to minor burns, sun burns, wind burns, scrapes, abrasion or cracked lips!
It works wonders! Heres a pic: http://www.vogue.com.au/var/vogue/storag…
hope that helps! :-)What can I use as a toner for my face?
They sell bottles of astringent that make your skin feel clean, tingly, and soft and supple. Put it on before bed and in the morning. Hope I could help. Good Luck.
I didn't realise people still used toner. After cleansing you could splash with cold water, it will do the same thing. then moisturise.

Does the MICR line on checks have to be printed with magnetic toner?
I've seen many software products at the store for printing your own checks. Some even come with blank check stock, to suggest you could just install the software and print checks to your heart's content.
While all the packages will print the OCR characters, it is only in smaller letters on the package that they suggest that you use magentic ink or magnetic toner to print your checks.
A friend who has been using regular toner to print his checks for several years, says he's never had a problem, and never had a check returned. He claims that these days banks use optical character recognition to read the MICR line, and it's no longer necessary to deal with magnetic toner.
What's the real story?Does the MICR line on checks have to be printed with magnetic toner?
i believe that if a check is not encoded with magnetic MICR ink, it has to be keyed in manually. you can go to the bank and request a blank counter check to use and that would not have MICR, so they do it manually. i would suggest asking your bank. it is possible that in the fine print somewhere they might have a charge for having to deal with non MICR drafts against your account.
I would think it opens you up to more errors on your account by not having it automatically read.
i remember way back when The Tonite Show with Johnny Carson did a film of him writing a check on a bikini clad model and presenting her to a bank for payment. as i recall they paid, not sure how they handled the cancellation process! LOLDoes the MICR line on checks have to be printed with magnetic toner?
The real story is that it depends on the bank. The new laws which allow the scanning of the checks have made a big dent in this requirement. Every once in a while you will run into a bank that has some kind of problem with no MICR.
Source - I just sold a payroll processing business where we created the checks on the fly and did use MICR [in the last 12 months we were nailed by 5 different banks for issues with the MICR, it would have been at least that number if we used standard toner]
