Wouldn't it be more permanent than toner? I'm thinking of getting the hair to a light yellow and then using a blue based blonde with 20 volume developer.Can I use color rather than toner after I bleach my hair?
That works as long as you lightened more than you wanted.
example: You bleached to a platinum (10) and then you put an ash blond (8 or 9) over it. Your only worry is that the undertone (the blue) will grab too much. To prevent this you would only leave the color on as long as you would a normal toner (around 5 minutes)
If in 5 minutes it grabbed too much blue, simply add a bit of mixed bleach to shampoo in your hand and massage out the color. (with 20 vol bleach this should take around 5 minutes or so). The color will stay but the unwanted undertone will fade considerably.

Ive brought a born blonde toner, will it work?
I recently brought a born blonde toner (354 warm beige blonde) to try and even out my hair colour. I have extensions and my natural hair is white and the extensions are slightly yellowish, im hoping that the toner will even out the colour as it will darken both of them to a matching shade? Am i right? I dont want to use bleach or dye as it may damage the extensions, but i dont want to use this if it is unlikely to work?Ive brought a born blonde toner, will it work?

If they match you can mix all the contents as directed and use it all over. I doubt a toner would make two different shades match. If I used a toner with a 40 volume instead of 20, would it just intensify the toner color or would it lighten?
Just making sure I am not confused. Also is this right? When using 20 volume with lightening powder (bleach) you can get the same results as if using a higher volume it will just take longer? Is there less damage with the 20 kept on for longer or is the damage the same and just depends on what color you're lightening to? the higher the volume of the developer the stronger the lightening power .. the lower the less invasive ... it would be best if u stuck with 20 volume .. and let the toner on ur hair for 20 min if u want a more intense color ull have to choose a more intense tonerlebron james

Does anyone ever have a reaction when they change cleanser or toner?

my skin breaks out horrendously if i change my face wash or moisturiser, which i will never again do!
a few weeks ago, i bought a lovely night time moisturiser, for sensitive skin and everything-i came out in horrific acne after a couple of nights.
The spots have only just gone-it was very painful, I looked like I had a disease.
So, if you have products that work for you-stick with them!
Also, I only clean my face with product when I have worn make-up, or when in the bath. I Always use moisturiser after a bath, then when my skin feels dry, not religiously every morning, that seems to help keep everything nice and clear.
