Where can our office recycle a GENERIC toner cartridge?

I was just given the task of returning / recycling a bunch of old ink and toner cartridges. Most of them are the original manufacturer, so I've had no problem with those, but I have this one generic laser toner cartridge, which I don't know how to get rid of. Can anyone help? Thanks.Where can our office recycle a GENERIC toner cartridge?

What happens if you bleach your hair for highlights and you dont use a toner?

my hair is dyed black and im wondering will it turn orange without a toner? What happens if you bleach your hair for highlights and you dont use a toner?
not necessarily. when you remove color from hair ( which is what highlights are) you go through stages of enlightenment, and with each stage there is a different tonality tot he color. the darker the highlight is, the more red/ orange it will be. if you do not like red orange and want a bright yellow to pale yellow color highliht, its going to have to go thru ALOT of stages of enlightenment to get to that color.

a toner is VERY helpful when trying to achieve the perfect highlightWhat happens if you bleach your hair for highlights and you dont use a toner?
i just answered this question a few days ago i think.

if your hair is dyed black, you will have to strip and bleach your hair, which is REALLY really bad for your hair.

i'd suggest waiting until some of the black has faded and then try the highlights. otherwise, you risk tons of probably irreversable damage to your hair.
It will go brassy real quick and the color will be un-even it also helps prolong the color!!!!!!!!!
Your best bet would be to go to a professional and let them get you where you want to be!! You would have to bleach your hair many times to get enough color out, and then your hair would be fried!!

Is toner really a necessary part of a skin care plan?

I have heard both that it is and is not.

I have mild/ moderate acne, and sensitive skin, do you know any good toners that wont burn my skin if it is necessary? Is toner really a necessary part of a skin care plan?
Don't Forget to Clean Your inside to Cure Acne

When most of us attack the problem of acne, we tend to do so on the surface. There are dozens of different cleaners that we can pick up at the drugstore and at least as many natural cures that we can try that are topical. What many of us forget is that acne actually starts from the inside and works its way out. As a matter of fact, some people feel that acne is simply a sign that something has gone wrong in the body and that we are out of balance. It isn't really necessary to treat the acne itself if we are able to get rid of what is causing in the first place.

That is why it is important to make sure that you're cleaning yourself on the inside as well as on the outside. Is toner really a necessary part of a skin care plan?

What toner do I use to dye my hair darker?

I have about 2 inches of colored hair left on my strands. The rest is virgin hair (natural). I have dark brown as my natural and light brown as my colored hair. What can I do to die my colored hair the same color as my natural hair WITHOUT dying the natural? ThanksWhat toner do I use to dye my hair darker?
You don't use toner when dyeing hair darker, you use a filler. You may not need one, depending how light the dyed hair is, but if you do use one that has a neutral base.

As far as dyeing over the previous color...not sure I understood what you mean. Are you saying the very ends are the only part left that isn't your natural color?? If there's only 2 inches, just cut it off! Dyeing over it would be a waste of time and you won't have to worry about accidentally getting dye on the regrowth. Good luck!

Hmm, good point. In that case, I'd suggest getting a color stripper (Like ColorZap, you can get it at sally beauty supply) and applying it to the dyed part ONLY. It'll turn a weird orange/red color, so don't freak. Then dye over that.

Can i dye my hair light blonde and then use a ash blonde toner to cover the red\orange?

I have brown hair and i know there is a chance that when i dye it blonde it will turn orange\red.Can i dye my hair light blonde and then use a ash blonde toner to cover the red\orange?
If you lighten your hair with haircolor, be sure to choose a haircolor with a cool base, such as blue or violet. These bases will counteract warm tones and give you more of an ash blonde. If you are lightening your hair with a bleach product, lift it past the orange state into more of a yellow or pale yellow to pull out the most warmth. If you want to ';tone'; down any warmth afterwards, use a demi permanent haircolor with 10 volume or less for 15 minutes or less to tone out any additional unwanted brassiness. Your toner should also have a blue or violet base to counteract the most warmth. Miss Clairol HL-B is an example of a permanent haircolor with a blue base that will give you 5 levels of lift and deposit a cool ash base. Or, Clairol Professional Premium Creme 12A will give you the same lift and coolness in a creme haircolor. If you go with a permanent haircolor to lighten, you can follow up with blonde highlights with bleach to get a little lighter and cooler. Can i dye my hair light blonde and then use a ash blonde toner to cover the red\orange?

How To Color Your Hair

Don't go by what is on the pictures on the boxes -- depending on the highlights in your hair, if you put an ash on it, it could look greenish grey -- not attractive in the least. So know your hair before you start colouring it.

Does toner prevent dye from taking to bleached hair?

I am planning to bleach my hair and dye it pink,I know my hair will get to a pale yellow colour and then I am supposed to use a toner to get rid of the yellow tones and get it whiter before the pink dye.But will the toner prevent the dye from setting into my hair?Is it just for people who want white blond hair on its own?Does toner prevent dye from taking to bleached hair?
if anything itll make the dye go in better as itll probably open the cuticles but if i were you id leave it a few days in between just to be on the safe side

also instead of a toner, try using some kind of silver shampoo as it has the same effect but much less damaging to your hair

  • How do I make my face toner/less round?

I've naturally always had a very round face that drives me crazy! I'm not fat, I'm normal, but the skin under my chin rolls any time I move my head (making me look fat). It's so bad that my little brother calls it my ';gobble';. What can I do to make my ';gobble'; go away so that I have a pretty face like normal people? How do I make my face toner/less round?
Before you try doing anything drastic, try hair and make-up techniques to elongate your face. If you have bangs grow them out, avoid cuts that frame your face too much. Try tweezing your eyebrows or having them professionally waxed to open up your face more, and buy facial firming cream to try to tighten the skin and minimize your ';gobble.'; Most importantly, don't obsess over it cuz the more you do, the more attention you will draw to it.How do I make my face toner/less round?
Choose different parents next time around, or have extensive reconstructive surgery. It's all in the genes!

There is nothing that can really be done about the one spot. It is impossible to loose fat in just one spot on your body. If you want to loose fat on your face, you will need to lower your total body fat %.
