that is the catch with home printers - they are quite cheap to buy, but then hellish expensive on the consumables - not only toner, but also the fuser may have to be replaced (that cooks the ink onto the paper) and the photosensitive drum after so many thousand copies.

Is it effective to apply toner 2 weeks after bleaching?
I recently bleached my hair in hopes of achieving a pale blonde color. I ended up with a yellow, brassy color instead. I read that a purple shampoo takes out brassiness but I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and my hair is still yellow. Will a toner at this point be effective? Should I use a different method?Is it effective to apply toner 2 weeks after bleaching?
when i bleached my hair it turned yellow, i waited for about a month before i did a retouch. i only did my roots with bleach and then i put toner in it and it worked on all of my hair so it should work on yours.
i used 8A and 10V in equal parts and that worked well\

You should be fine with a toner. Make sure you use a neutral or ash base. Just be careful with the ash tones, you could end up with a greenish hue if it isn't done right

I find that when I apply my toner with a cotton ball or pad, the fuzz from the pad gets on my face. I'm wondering if putting some toner in the palm of my hand and applying it with my fingertips would be effective, or if that application method is not effective.Is it effective to apply toner using the hands?

After applying the cleanser and toner ,do I have to wash my face and then apply the moisturizer?
For how many times during the day do I have to repeat this?I have dry skin and I am 38yrs of age. At the moment I am using the simple products (Cleanser,toner and mosterizer.)ThanksAfter applying the cleanser and toner ,do I have to wash my face and then apply the moisturizer?
wash your face with water then use the cleanser then wash it off with water then towel pat dry then put on the toner with a cotton pad then wait about 10 minutes and put moisturizer on =)
do this first thing in the morning and right before u go to bed.

You use the cleanser to wash your face - warm water, face washer etc, then rinse off and pat dry with a towel.
You then get a cotton bud and wet it with toner, rub it on your face especially along your ';t-zone'; - forehead, nose, chin.
You then put your moisturiser on on top of the toner - it doesn't get rinsed off.
You should repeat this twice a day, once in the morning and once at night time before bed so that your face isn't clogged up when you are in bed.
No you don't wash your face after toning.
First you cleanse: You should cleanse for at least 2 minutes.
then rinse well
Then Tone: use cotton pad or tissue to apply a thin layer over
entire face, avoiding eye area don't rinse
Moisturize: after toner has dried apply over face, don't rinse
Also you may use a eye cream and face masks twice a week.
If you have dry skin you need to be careful about how you wash your skin. I recommend Cetaphyl which will leave your skin clean but not stripped of natural oils. Since your skin is dry you really don't need any toner. I would suggest Avon's hydrofirming cream for day and night. The day cream has SFP and the night cream is a little richer formula. I also like Oil of Olay's Eye Pods around my eyes. I also use it on the side of my mouth. Finally I put on Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream on my lips. I massage the leftovers into my cuticles.
for me no need to wash again your face it only depends on what proeducts you are about to use?? see more products that suites for your skin tone even thru your age..

Are you supposed to rinse with water after applying a toner?
I just started using Merle Norman cosmetics. I find the toner leaves a sticky film and feels even worse after I apply the moisturiser. So, this time I rinsed with water and voila, it was much better.Are you supposed to rinse with water after applying a toner?

What a good inexpensive toner for bleached hair?
I just had my hair bleached it is to dark to come up otherwise and it is so bright I need something to tone it down a little but still have it look light blond.
Can i use a toner on my blonde hair without the peroxide?
Just wondering if i can use a blonde toner on my hair without the developing solution (peroxide). Since my hair is so light and pretty pourous, i know the peroxide just helps open the cuticle, and mine is open already. I plan on useing a violet base to counteract the yellowish brassy roots. actually if you don't use the developer then the toner won't take to your hair. you need both parts to make it work. even though your hair is already damaged and porous from coloring it the first time.. the two both go together and won't work without ecahother.
another choice is to use a purple shampoo.. if you dont have one already.. get one! it makes a lot bigger difference than a toner, it just takes atleast a week or two to see the results but its worth it =]Can i use a toner on my blonde hair without the peroxide?
yes; you should be able to. make sure to use a lot of conditioner and whatnot so your hair doesnt fall out :D
